Oceania Tours & Vacations

You will need a big set of crayons to fill in the color-wheel of Oceania.

Start with every shade of red imaginable: that will probably cover the ochre rocks and rusted deserts of the Outback in Australia. For the waters of the South Pacific? Cobalt blue. But save plenty of turquoise and pale gold for the shallow sandbanks and coastal shoals of Timor and northern Queensland. Then there’s the pure white of New Zealand snow, the moss green of Tasmania's southern forests and the inky brown of a classic Melbourne espresso. Oceania is life in full color, just the way we like it. Someone fetch us a crayon...

This trip provided a wonderful introduction to the Red Centre, including Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuṯa as well as Uluru. Our guide was happy to ashush the itinerary to give us the best experience, too. Exceeded my expectations.

A great trip that was spoiled by the hiring of a sub-standard vehicle.

Best of Perth, Margaret River & Rottnest Island

Hansel · Traveled May 2024
Undisputed highlight of the trip was the experience of Ngilgi Cave with local indigenous guide Josh from Koomal dreaming. Wadjemup (Rottnest Island) is a close second with stunning wildlife and scenery all along its coastline. Rare opportunity to sample products from some of Australia's finest boutique breweries.

Kakadu, Katherine & Litchfield Explorer

Richelle · Traveled May 2024
This trip is perfect for adventure lovers wanting to escape their city lives and be immersed in the stunning and natural landscapes of the Northern Territory. We were really blessed, as we had a small group therefore, got to know each other well and had a blast especially all the swimming!!!! We learnt so much about indigenous culture and loved seeing all of the rock art in various different remote places. Our tour guide Lauren was calm, efficient and knowledgeable. She made the trip really wonderful for all. I love intrepid and will continue to holiday with them and would not hesitate to always recommend Intrepid in the future to anyone looking for sustainable and easy going holidays with like minded people.
