For your peace of mind, we do require that you provide evidence of having appropriate insurance coverage on day one of your trip. When selecting a travel insurance plan, at a minimum you should consider a plan with benefits for emergency medical expenses, including emergency repatriation.
Please ensure you have your policy number and emergency telephone number for your insurance company. If this is unavailable please ensure you have the necessary information required by your insurance company in case of an emergency.
You also may wish to choose a plan which includes trip cancellation benefits. This may cover cancellation penalties in certain circumstances if you have to cancel your trip unexpectedly due to a covered illness, injury or other specified unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, cancellation insurance will not cover you if you change your mind.
