Denmark Tours & Vacations

Leave it to the Danes to invent hygge. It’s basically the national emoticon: a feeling of community, closeness, camaraderie and contentment all wrapped up in one ergonomically designed package.

Of course it’s easy to be content when your country consistently tops liveability rankings, produces addictive crime dramas, and is full of green fields, forget-me-nots, and windmills. Yep, Denmark just seems to work. Design is minimal, politics is open, pedestrians and cyclists rule the streets and locals walk around looking tall and unfairly attractive. Come for the old-world charm, stay for the new-world outlook.

A Taste of Scandinavia

For a short tour, this one week adventure was jam packed with great activities and opportunities to explore! Our tour leader was fantastic and helped make the trip so enjoyable. Highly recommend if you are a solo traveller as it's a great way to meet people and feel safe. Adding days before and/or after this tour is a good idea

A Taste of Scandinavia

As the name says - a taste of Scandinavia! Only a week, but a great opportunity to get a feel of Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Oslo with a trip out to Swedish island - Vrango. Great balance of inclusions and free time. Would recommend adding days before an after for more exploring.

The itinerary and tour guide were excellent. Accommodations were rough - I would not stay at these hotels by choice.

A Taste of Scandinavia

This is my 6th Intrepid trip. I highly recommend Scandinavia as a place to visit. I don’t know about the value of this tour as it was all trains, public transportation, and hotels were subpar (Sweden hotel had shared communal bathroom - we booked another hotel for those three nights outside of Intrepid). Scandinavia surprising very easy to get around if you speak english. Our guide did provide good insight, and itinerary was fun, Sweden archipelago a highlight that I probably would not have done if traveling on my own.

A Taste of Scandinavia

This was an incredible trip! This trip is pretty fast paced, but the time spent in each location is just enough. These cities are very English speaking friendly and we always felt safe and never had any challenges speaking with locals. Highly recommend this trip and Intrepid! It was so great to not have to plan anything on our own and just show up! Thank you Ivan, and Intrepid!
