Georgia Tours & Vacations

Georgia’s mix of natural beauty, medieval history and Soviet influences has made it one of Eastern Europe’s most fascinating destinations.

Long hidden behind ‘the curtain’, it has emerged, butterfly-like on travelers’ maps. Boasting hilltop churches, meandering cobbled streets, mountainscapes and a wine region the French would envy, Georgia is sure to capture your imagination.

Premium Azerbaijan, Georgia & Armenia

Highly recommended for those who are interested in the Caucuses region. It is a fascinating trip with amazing trips to parts of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia we would not have been able to do by ourselves in the short time available. The tour leader Iuliia was fantastic. Well organised, anticipatory of all our needs and incredibly responsive.

Premium Azerbaijan, Georgia & Armenia

Elizabeth · Traveled October 2022
The three countries are fascinating and there is a good mix between heavy sightseeing, activity filled days, and more restful days with hotels that have spas. The local guides were very good and answered all our questions, including on culture, politics, and the current conflicts. I found the trip insightful and pleasant. Hotels were all good quality, which was perfect. While not a negative, potential travellers should be prepared for some long days of driving, firmer beds and dry meat in most restaurants. In Armenia, smoking is common, so make sure you close your hotel windows. Marichka was an exceptional guide. She was very organised and forward thinking. Her insights and leadership made the trip extra enjoyable.

Absolutely loved this trip. I have seen reviews about premium trips from Intrepid not meeting expectations but this is a travel company and I have no issues. OI would recommend this trip and Marichka as a guide to anyone.
