My trip to Alaska was exactly as described by Intrepid. We did everything that was advertised. Schedules were perfect. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Definitely 5 stars and I'd use Intrepid again.

This is my 4th Intrepid trip, first one not using my passport, and it was another excellent experience. Our guide Sean was laid back and knowledgable. The hikes & surroundings were amazing too! Cannot recommend this trip enough.

Trip itinerary was well designed. Team lead J (John) was simply incredible. He literally knows every lake, every mountain and every hike. He is knowledgable, funny, attentive and organized. He provided great options when the weather didn't accommodate. He listened to customer needs and did his best to support. He was an important factor that made this trip a wonderful experience. I immediately booked two more trips through Intrepid when I came back from this trip. The second though was a bit disappointing because the first one set such a high expectation. Looking forward to testing on the 3rd trip.

This was my second Intrepid trip, and both experiences have been excellent! This trip offered beautiful hikes (excellent workouts!), and a balance of free time to book personal interests. I took the opportunity to add sea kayaking, which was also amazing. Our group was fun and diverse. The group leader (Vern) was FANTASTIC, and did a lot to help personalize the trip based on the various interests of our group. Vern also clearly knew the area and provided interesting educational information on the geology and history along the way.

This trip was outstanding for included activities, add on activities, guides, traveling companions, and lodging. Be warned that everything in Alaska is expensive when compared to the US Midwest prices. I will recommend this trip, and continue to recommend Intrepid, to friends and family.
