Generally, you will not need a visa to travel to the United States for a period of up to 90 days under the United States Visa Waiver Program, but you may need to obtain a letter of authorization before you travel to the States. This can be obtained by submitting an application through the Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA).
Some citizens of a select few nationalities must obtain a non-immigrant visa. For more information, please visit the Department of State website or the Essential Trip Information.
