Day 1 Quito

Quito's impressive Old Town is full of picturesque streets and historic buildings - there are more than 30 churches to explore, as well as fascinating museums and lively plazas.

Day 2 Isla San Cristobal

One of the most unique and diverse landscapes in the world, the Galapagos Islands boast an amazing array of wildlife, both on land and underwater.

Day 3 Isla Bartolome

Inhospitable to most plants and animals, Isla Bartolome is one of the most spectacular volcanic landscapes in the Galapagos, full of parasitic spatter cones, lava flows and Bombs, the famous Pinnacle Rock and Galapagos penguins and lava lizards Sitting on Isla Santiago's eastern coast, Bahia Sullivan's 100-year-old lava flow forms a black carpet of intricate markings and patterns, where iguanas and Sally Lightfoot crabs roam.

Day 4 Isla Santiago

Isla Santiago features some of the most idyllic locations in the archipelago, including Espumilla Beach, Buccaneer Cove and the black sands of Puerto Egas.

Day 5 Isla Santa Cruz

Isla Santa Cruz is home to the Charles Darwin Research Station The station's visitor centre and museum are essential stops for anyone interested in the archipelago's natural and human history, and keen to learn more about conservation efforts to preserve the unique ecosystems of the Galapagos. It also offers visitors their best chance for close-up encounters with giant tortoises.

Day 6 Quito

All good things must come to an end – and the Galapagos Encounter does just that after a delicious breakfast in the Ecuadorian capital.
