Take the family on a 6-day adventure through some of the most spectacular natural scenery in the USA as you explore Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. Watch Old Faithful as it shoots boiling water high into the sky, swim in a bubbling hot spring, and cruise along the river corridor that is the lifeline for the animals that live in the Grand Teton mountain range. Spot wildlife like moose, bears and beavers, and follow along with a real-life wolf tracker who’ll teach you their secret tracking tricks.

- Take the kids out into nature and discover the abundant wildlife, from buffalo herds to grizzly bears, that inhabit this sparsely populated part of the USA.
- Meet up with an experienced wolf tracker for a unique opportunity to view wolves within their natural habitat in Yellowstone National Park.
- Explore the stunning scenery of Grand Teton National Park in a variety of ways - walking, a boat cruise and inflatable raft.
- By travelling on this trip, you’ll learn about our Intrepid Foundation partner, the Grand Canyon Conservancy. Donations help them protect Grand Canyon National Park and support trail restoration, conservation of native plants and wildlife, and educational programs. Intrepid will double the impact by dollar-matching all post-trip donations made to The Intrepid Foundation.
- This trip includes time spent travelling in a private vehicle with your group. Extra space can be tight so it may feel a little cramped but it’s all part of the adventure and a great way to get to know your fellow travellers. Please read the itinerary carefully for travel time estimates.
- The trip involves some easy hikes, a boat cruise and river raft journey so a reasonable level of mobility is required and be sure to bring sturdy walking shoes, a water bottle and a daypack.
- Lunches will be simple and picnic-style, so perhaps bring some of your own snacks if you think you or the kids will get hungry between meals.
