Have your say on who gets $50k

Thanks to you – the thousands of Intrepid travellers who donate every year – The Intrepid Foundation now supports more than 50 local partners worldwide. So, this year, we’re inviting you to have your say on an Impact Grant entirely funded by donations made at the time of booking. We’ve picked three community projects based in some of our most popular destinations – and your vote will help decide which partner receives AU 50,000 towards it.

Having trouble choosing? Focus on the impact and choose the partner you feel can make the biggest difference.

High Atlas Foundation

Morocco

High up in the mountains, the High Atlas Foundation is helping rural communities grow stronger. In each participating village, 25 women and 25 men will join empowerment workshops designed to spark self-discovery. For women, the focus is on building confidence and learning how to be economically independent; for men, it’s on redefining masculinity to support gender equality. Together, these journeys will culminate in planting 15,000 fruit trees, giving farming families more stable livelihoods for the future.

Blue Dragon Children's Foundation

Vietnam

Blue Dragon aims to provide 20 households in Vietnam with livestock – giving families steady income and helping prevent trafficking by reducing the need to travel for work. These families will also receive biodigester systems that transform animal waste into clean energy and organic fertiliser. With a successful pilot already completed, this initiative is ready to scale and change even more lives by creating safer, more sustainable communities.

ACCESS Development Services

India

Women from low-income Varanasi households are taking the driver’s seat, thanks to ACCESS Development Services. The Holy City Rickshaws project trains women to operate eco-friendly e-rickshaws and provides skills in communication, self-defence and business development. With more support, the project will expand opportunities for female entrepreneurs and ensure these women can build lasting futures for themselves and their families.
