Our average group size of 10 (usually 3 to 5 like-minded families) means we can use local transport, eat at family-run restaurants, and stay in traditional guesthouses and homestays. All relations are welcome – as long as you’re with a child aged between 5 and 17, you’re a family in our eyes.
Europe family vacations
Dreaming about Europe for your family vacation?
Ah, Europe – a land of ancient ruins, mouthwatering cuisines, mountain-top castles and bluer-than-blue seas. But organizing a Euro trip can be tricky with busy school vacations and the challenge of navigating different languages, cultures and transport. That’s where we come in. Our family vacations take the hassle out of planning. All your chalets, guesthouses and alpine trains are booked; we’ve got warm baguettes and cheese on standby, and an action-packed itinerary that you and the kids will love. Time to turn those dreams into memories.

Why choose us
We know one of the hardest parts of family travel is keeping the kids entertained, which is why our trips have loads of fun, educational activities for both children and grown-ups. We try to keep travel time to a minimum, use hotels with pools where we can and include plenty of free time to do your own thing. Your leader can also suggest activities based on your kids’ hobbies or curriculum.
Our groups are small enough to avoid the crowds and reach out-of-the-way places, but big enough for a good social mix. Our average group size of 10 allows us to hop aboard local boats, buses or trains, eat at family-run restaurants, and stay in traditional guesthouses and homestays.
Boredom? Nope. The biggest challenge of traveling with kids is keeping them entertained, which is why our trips have plenty of fun activities and free time. We try to keep traveling time to a minimum and use hotels with pools. Your leader can also suggest activities based on your kid’s hobbies or curriculum.
Our leaders are specially trained to run family adventures, so you and the kids will be well taken care of. You can also rest easy knowing we conduct safety assessments on all our activities to meet local standards as well as our own comprehensive safety policy.
Making a difference has been part of our journey from day one. Through our non-profit, The Intrepid Foundation, we support organizations driving change around the world. And as a certified B Corp, we’re committed to doing good through the joy of travel.
