Visa and entry requirements for Australia

All foreign nationals, excluding New Zealand passport holders, need a visa to enter Australia. Citizens from some countries can apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA), but if you’re not eligible for an ETA, you must apply for a standard tourist visa instead – a fee applies for both. Always check the Australian government website or your government's foreign travel advisories for the latest information.
