Set on a small, but hilly ribbon of coast in France, Monaco is Europe’s second smallest independent state (after the Vatican). Beautiful buildings and perfect streets clamber up the hillside and down along the coast in a natural amphitheatre - it’s as if Monaco’s natural beauty is on show. Italy is just a few miles away.

Restaurants will include a service fee within the bill; however, tipping extra (while not absolutely necessary) is customary and will be appreciated by wait staff. Usually rounding up the bill or leaving spare change is sufficient. Feel free to tip more if the service has been exemplary or if you’re feeling generous.
