Promoter 

The promoter is Intrepid Travel Pty Ltd (ABN 35 007 172 456) of Level 7, 567 Collins Street, Melbourne (Promoter).  

Competition Period 

The Competition commences at 12:01am AEST on 22 September 2025 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 19 October 2025 (Competition Period). 

No entry details submitted after this time will be valid.  

Entry Eligibility 

The competition entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older and excludes employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary company and their immediate families, anyone connected professionally with the prize draw, or any person where entering this competition breaches any law or regulation of the jurisdiction in which they are resident. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. Only one entry per person will be available (Eligible Entrant). 

Entry Instructions  

This is a game of skill and to enter, individuals must complete the following entry mechanics during the Competition Period:  

• Visit intrepidtravel.com/au/intrepid-gc50-competition and complete the entry form

• Tell us in 25 words or less which country you want to visit with Intrepid with next 

• Submit your first and last name, email address and country of residence via the competition entry form

Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. Entries automatically generated by computer, completed by third parties in bulk, or that have been altered, reconstructed or tampered with will be rejected. Entrants may only enter the competition once.  

Selection Criteria 

Entries will be selected on the below criteria: 

• Creativity  

• Embodies the spirit of Intrepid trips

• Entry is 25 words or less 

Prize 

The prize winner will receive:  

• Major Prize: 1x $5,000 AUD Intrepid Travel Voucher  

(the Prize). 

• All travel is subject to the Intrepid Booking Conditions which can be found at: https://www.intrepidtravel.com/booking-intrepid/booking-conditions. The winner will be required to agree to the current Booking Conditions at the time of booking including any applicable policies or waivers that are in place at the time. 

• The Prize is not able to be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash and is subject to any terms and conditions imposed by any supplier of the Prize to the Promoter. 

• All offers apply to land element of trip only and cannot be redeemed against flights, additional accommodation, transfers, single supplements, travel insurance or local payments/kittys. 
• The Prize must be fully booked/redeemed by 30 October 2028, and travel must have commenced by December 15, 2028. The following blackout period applies 15 December 2025 – 14 January 2026, 15 December 2026 – 15 January 2027, 15 December 2027 – 14 January 2028 & 15 December 2028 – 14 January 2029. 
• The voucher can be applied to Intrepid Travel small group adventures, excluding the following: Short-Break Adventures; Tailor-Made Experiences; Urban Adventures; Antarctica trips.  
• The winner may book friends or family on the same trip they are booking using the prize value. 
• All offers apply to the trip price only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.  
• The Prize is subject to availability at time of booking. A minimum of 4 travellers must be confirmed on the Intrepid trip for the for the prize winner booking to be confirmed on their requested date. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.

• Each winner is responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any required visas, vaccinations and travel documentation.  
• Our trips are subject to availability and confirmation by Intrepid Travel at time of booking.  
• If you wish to cancel and rebook your trip or change dates outside the promotional period, you will be required to pay the full cost towards the new trip.   
• Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee at the cost of the winner.   
• Travel documents and vaccination requirements are the responsibility of the individual traveller.  
• Except as set out expressly above, Intrepid Travel’s Booking Conditions apply. 

Prize Draw Date 

The draw will take place at 12:00pm AEST on 24 October 2025 at [Level 7, 567 Collins Street, Melbourne, 3000] (Prize Draw Date). 

The winner will be notified in writing by email submitted at the time of entry. 

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to identify and locate the Prize Winner. At the conclusion of 21 days, if no response is received by the Promoter, we will deem the prize as unclaimed and an unclaimed Prize draw will be held on Monday, 24 November 2025. The Prize Winner from the redraw will be notified by email and similarly given 21 days to claim the prize. If by 24 December 2025 the prize is still unclaimed, this prize will be forfeited. 

Collection and use of your personal information   

Personal Information including the Eligible Entrant’s name, address, telephone number and email will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Competition. This may require disclosure to third parties, including the Promoter’s agents or third-party service providers, for the purpose of conducting the Competition.

Jurisdiction  

The promotion shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.   

General  

The Promoter and its affiliates reserve the right to amend or withdraw the prize draw and any of the prizes in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value.  

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
