Intrepid Travel recognised on Fast Company’s list of Brands That Matter

December 2025

The awards recognise brands that are culturally significant and forge meaningful connections with people and communities.

Intrepid Travel is proud to announce its inclusion in Fast Company’s annual Brands That Matter list. The list highlights brands that go beyond acquiring customers to forge meaningful connections with people and communities. Intrepid was recognised for the impact of its annual Not Hot List, designed to spotlight lesser-known destinations and help direct curious and conscientious travellers to places where their presence can have a positive impact.

“We’re delighted to receive this recognition for our work to advance our mission of creating positive change through travel,” said Hazel McGuire, Chief Marketing Officer at Intrepid Travel. “It’s a huge honour to be recognised alongside brands like Nike, National Basketball Association (NBA) and Netflix that are ‘staking their spot’ at the intersection of business and culture. We believe travel is a force for good, and we’ll continue using our voice to support the people and places we visit and inspire our travellers to do the same.”

Fast Company’s Brands That Matter awards are open to companies of any size, from multinational corporations to small businesses. Applications are judged on their emotional resonance, cultural significance, timeliness, clarity and originality.

The full list can be found on fastcompany.com and in the upcoming Winter print edition hitting newsstands beginning December 16, 2025.
