Normally I travel independently but this trip converted me! It allowed me to see parts of Sri Lanka I wouldn't have reached alone, to do activities I may not have attempted, and to learn about Lankan history and culture. The wonderful local team made us feel like a family.

After years of backpacking Intrepid offers a stress free way to explore a country and its culture with economy and sustainability, environmentally aware. What a fabulous time had in Sri Lanka made truly special by our guide Sam and his team. Each day extra activities were offered to give further insight and experiences that I felt so lucky to have the opportunity to see and be a part of. I would highly recommend the hiking biking and kayaking trip here in Sri Lanka to see all of its beauty on offer as well as learning so much about my own physical and mental strength.

Great trip seeing a variety of landscapes and wildlife. Sam the tour leader was fantastic, very supportive and knowledgeable. The trip is very active and challenging at times, be prepared for steep ascents and decents on the hike & plenty of hills on the bike but the support team are great at helping you through and the sense of achievement is great!

This tour provides a great introduction to Sri Lanka and it’s history, people, landscape and culture (including food). That said, the biking is a bit more challenging than currently described on the website, particularly the inclines / uphills. Nonetheless Dodan is an exceptional guide.
