The tour was excellent. The leader (Ana Paula) was informative, engaging and approachable. The activities we did were excellent - in particular the cooking classes, the boat trip (which was optional), the lucha libre match and the trip to Hierve el Agua in Oaxaca. Most importantly the food was fantastic. We would recommend this tour!

As a shy, introverted girl who always wanted to travel solo but was too afraid to I am so happy I took a chance and booked this trip. I ate such delicious food and met amazing people. My life has forever changed because of this trip. I learned so much about Mexican cuisine and history. I will definitely be going on more Intrepid trips in the near future!

Food is one of the best ways to immerse in a culture and this trip is a wonderful survey of central Mexican cuisine. This is NOT a parade of tourist traps. Rather, I felt I got to experience the cities we visited and truly sample what they had to offer with our guide's recommendations and local knowledge.
