A 21-day tour from the bustling streets of Bangkok to the jungle of Khao Sok.
This 21-day epic adventure takes you from the bustling streets of Bangkok to the hectic jungle of Khao Sok and ends in ultra-modern Singapore. Sleep on a raft, kick back at Krabi and eat your way through Penang and Singapore. If this trip was a dish it would taste like Singapore’s chilli crab - hot enough to keep you on your toes with a whopping great serve of salty ocean on the side.
Some of our under-30 travellers prefer to get around with people their own age. If that’s you, you’re in the right place!

This trip involves some long journeys on the road, lots of public transport (songthaews, public buses) and overnight trains, which can be tiresome. On the overnight trains occasionally passengers of different genders will be required to share a compartment and/or you'll be sharing with locals or travellers from other groups. For your own security, take a lock for your luggage.
This trip is designed with a lot of free time, rather than set included activities to give you the flexibility and space for making your own discoveries. This is a great way to travel independently while drawing on the knowledge of local leaders.
This trip includes a two-day hillside trek, and can involve a lot of walking. Please ensure you bring sturdy walking shoes and comfortable clothes. To make the most of the trip, it's best if you have a good level of fitness.
Accommodation can be basic, especially in the hillside village, but it's always comfortable and full of charm. We use hostels in Chiang Mai, so think dorm beds and shared bathrooms. It’s modern, comfortable and has some great communal spaces to hang out with your new mates.
Part of travelling with Intrepid means respecting local cultures and sensibilities. That way you get the most out of your interactions with local people. We visit a number of temples on this trip, which requires a certain level of modesty. Please bring clothes that cover the arms and pants/skirts that go past the knees. A light scarf is also a good idea for covering shoulders and arms when it’s hot.
