This is South East Asia, so be prepared for some balmy conditions. The Central Highlands, where your hiking takes place, tend to be cooler than the cities. At any rate, be sure to drink plenty of water and use adequate sun protection.

Intrepid travel do Viet nam very well. I thoroughly enjoyed my nine day tour ... a little off the beaten track tour is well worth it in terms of knowledge and experience. It is good to avoid the tour crowds as much as possible and intrepid delivered on this adventure. Thanks for your service.

I learnt that bug spray is better than lotion as they are capable of getting under the clothing. The people that had spray could spray over the clothes to help. When trekking ankle boots are not as comfortable and would suggest shorter boots. A sleeping bag liner is very useful at home stay. You can never have enough water, always carry more
