Trek the Larapinta Trail

The 2 guides were excellent - very knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. The sections of the track we walked were absolutely beautiful. Having a hot shower at the end of each day was very welcome.

Trek the Larapinta Trail

Georgie · Traveled May 2023
10/10 trip. Our guides, Zoe and Matt, were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and incredibly helpful. The hiking was excellent and very doable if you’re a regular hiker. The itinerary provided by Intrepid did not necessarily match the reality (some hikes were changed and/or occurred on different days) and neither did the notes about the accomodation, which was much more deluxe than anticipated (permanent tented camp at Glen Helen each night, dinner at the same on-site restaurant/bar, hot showers, electricity etc etc). We all arrived prepared for a much more basic camping experience. This was a pleasant surprise, but Intrepid should update its trip notes to reflect the reality. I absolutely recommend this trip.

Kakadu, Katherine & Litchfield Adventure

Angela · Traveled May 2023
This trip totally exceeded my expectations!!! Our awesome tour guide Elliott is extremely knowledgeable and respectful of indigenous culture. The experience was made more amazing with his explanations of all the indigenous artworks sites and all locations that we visited.

Hike Tasmania's Maria Island

Jane · Traveled May 2023
I jumped into this one without doing much research but as the days got shorter and colder I frantically stocked up on the best clothing I could find. Walking 67km over 4 days was a great confidence booster im confirming a reasonable fitness level. Delightful in dry weather - I don’t know what it’s like when raining.

Fraser Island (K’gari) Adventure

Katie · Traveled April 2023
Whilst the island was amazing, we had 2 tour guides driving us around. One of the your guides Rando was brilliant, he had great energy and really made an effort to tell stories, give island info and made sure everyone had a good time. Unfortunately we were in the car with the other tour guide Beaver who to be honest just seemed to not enjoy his job. He didn't really make much effort with the passengers in our car, he came across a bit rude at times and most of the time our car was just sat in silence, whilst the other car with the other tour guide had great fun. When we were out of the cars it was fine, but unfortunately you spend a fair bit of time in the cars and it honestly put a bit of a downer on the trip. He even said to us that they had to cancel a trip of 21 customers as he didn't have enough drivers but he was glad because he didn't have to do a really long day the next day, but that's 21 disappointed customers. He shouldn't have said this Infront of other customers.
