A really well thought out tour with some must see scenery, I thought that the guide (Matt) we had was fantastic and helped build a family feel to the group immediately. Matt showed some extensive knowledge of the areas we visited; the cultures and state rules which made us all feel comfortable! I wouldn’t hesitate booking another trip with Intrepid!

If you’re debating booking a group tour, or figuring it all out yourself- book the group tour!! This tour eliminated any stress I had about where to stay, how to get there, where the restrooms were along the way (it’s not important until you have to go!), the places to see and things you can skip. There’s plenty of free time to explore as you wish, while having the guided tours along the way. You learn so much from your guide/leader and to see the amount of people not a part of your group, listening in to your leader or asking them where to go and what to see just goes to show how much your guide really handles for you so you can have a stress-free, enjoyable trip! Book the group tour and have fun!

If we were younger, we would certainly investigate doing another trip like this.

The national parks were really impressive! The guide very enthousiastic and organized. However I felt that the trip is overpriced. Hotels weren't the best. I didn't like the small group of only 5 people (less chance that you connect with some of them) and they were in their 70's. Very different stemina and pace on this hiking trip. Intrepid could have warned me about the group composition. Next time I'd rather go by myself again.
