These hills are alive
Tucked into the heart of Central Asia, Kyrgyzstan’s skyline is dominated by craggy peaks and alpine lakes. Home to trails of ancient nomads and Silk Road travellers, today’s Kyrgyz society honours the old ways of living and invites you to experience them. Spend a night in a yurt camp, learn how to cook Boorsok, visit Solomon’s Throne and haggle for handcrafts at the market, all while travelling across a selection of the world’s most impressive - but still unknown - scenery.

Take in the scenery at Issyk-Kul Lake
Enjoy a beach break with a difference. This alpine lake has been a favourite holiday spot for locals for centuries and it’s not hard to see why. During the day, spend time swimming in the bright blue waters or enjoying the snow-topped mountain view. Then at night, breathe in the fresh air and savour the local hospitality in a shore-side yurt camp.
Look up at the Sulaiman-Too Sacred Mountain
Framing the city of Osh are five peaks dotted with ancient religious sites where ancient travellers would visit to receive blessings and cures. Some of the worship sites are still in use today. With 500 years of history, this is Kyrgyzstan’s only UNESCO-listed site. Climb the mountain or see its impressive structure from below.
