You’ll need a big set of crayons to fill in the colour wheel of Oceania. Start with every shade of red imaginable: that will probably cover the ochre rocks and rusted deserts of the Outback. For the waters of the Pacific? Cobalt blue. But save plenty of turquoise and pale gold for the shallow sandbanks and coastal shoals of Timor and northern Queensland. Then there’s the pure white of New Zealand snow, the moss green of Tasmania's southern forests and the inky brown of a classic Melbourne espresso. Oceania is life in full colour, just the way we like it. Someone fetch us a crayon...

Always important to read through all the itiernary and notes to ensure travelers are capable of managing all different activities. Also, managing your expectation since most trips provide very specific accommodations need. It's always best to be respectful and be open minded to meet new people and treat others like how you want to be treated.

Brisbane to Cairns Northbound, February 2018
I think an organized tour is a great idea when you're traveling solo. You get to pick your overall experience but all the details of planning, where to stay, what to do and how to get from place to place etc are taken care of which is really nice.

I couldn't have asked for a more amazing adventure! Australia is stunningly beautiful. The variety of colors with regards to it's bodies of water, it's magestic landscape surrounded by stoic trees. The reptiles, the marsupials......the people. Australians definitely embody joie de vivre. I definitely learned how to dial it back a bit while observing them. Traveling to Australia was a breath of fresh air. I was humbled by how happy, kind and relaxed locals were. Our tour guide, Luke Holcombe was awesome! So knowledgeable, resourceful, hilarious. I definitely had the time of my life. Our tour group was great too. Small group with folks from different parts of the world in different age groups. If you're contemplating going to Australia, just stop already and buy your ticket. You won't look back.
