Reykjavik Tours & Holidays

Surrounded by imposing volcanic mountains and boasting a vibrant arts scene and bustling nightlife, the capital of Iceland is worth the price. A tour to Reykjavik is a chance to chillout in geothermal pools, uncover Viking history, or just enjoy the laidback vibe with a few glasses of Brennivin. It’s the start of the Golden Circle – think geysers, glaciers and mammoth waterfalls – and a fun-filled place to finish up after an exploration of nearby, contrasting, Greenland.

Iceland Discovery

Our guide Thordur was so experienced (he has run 98 Intrepid tours so far!), and was able to make adjustments to the itinerary on the fly to ensure we made the most of the time and weather we had - even adding in extra activities/locations to make up for ones missed due to road closures etc. I can see that every trip to Iceland is unique in this way.

Iceland Discovery

Our tour guide’s commentaries were enriched by his broad knowledge of Iceland’s history, its geography, its plants and animals, its culture, its traditions and its people. We were immersed in the beauty of Iceland and we have fallen in love with this country.

Six Days in Iceland

This trip was an incredible, cost-effective way to see lots of Iceland in a short period of time! Our group was fantastic and our leader's insight was invaluable. I'd highly recommend this trip if Iceland is one of your bucket list destinations :)

Six Days in Iceland

Madison · Traveled April 2024
This was the perfect way to experience Iceland. We saw so much more than if we had visited on our own and the stress of navigating the country (and any surprise weather conditions) was relieved. The tour was well paced – despite lots of travel time, it was broken up with lots of stops and places to explore. Gisli was the best – we loved his stories and subtle humor!
