New Zealand tours in February 2025

There’s not much you can’t do in a New Zealand summer

See a glacier? Check. Swim on a beach? Check. Go hiking, cycling, surfing, cruising, caving, wine tasting and more? Also, check. Summertime here really means fun in the sun. Travel the length and breadth of New Zealand learning about the natural landscape, wildlife, cultures and people who have lived here for generations. See kiwi bird conservation efforts in Rotorua, carve your own traditional pounamu pendant on the South Island, snorkel the volcanic origins of the Poor Knights Islands or even bungee jump in Queenstown. You’ll truly feel as if you’ve been transported into an epic fantasy adventure (cough, cough, Lord of the Rings).

New Zealand West Coast Adventure

Jef was an amazing tour guide and the West Coast Adventure was truly a memorable vacation. He taught me so much about New Zealand and I walked away with a new appreciation of the culture and country. A life changing trip!

Active New Zealand: Wanaka

Tara · Traveled February 2024
Griff was an amazing tour leader! He was able to accommodate everyone in our group and make everyone feel comfortable. Some activities were a little more intense than others; but we all felt safe with Griff leading the way. He knew so much about the Queenstown/Wanaka area, it's flora and fauna and history. The highlight for me was the Dunstan bike trail - a challenging ride with spectacular views the entire way! The accommodation was comfortable and food was great - especially the included breakfasts!

Premium New Zealand South Island

Stephanie · Traveled February 2024
A truly wonderful trip completely made by our extremely professional and knowledgeable tour guide/driver/ organiser, Wayne. Hotels and food mediocre but scenery amazing, The itinerary needs updating as time was wasted and many additional miles travelled in a squashed minibus visiting pointless now empty former attractions. Admin and communication from Intrepid needs improving.

Walk New Zealand's Queen Charlotte Track

Glyn · Traveled February 2024
Our trip leader Jef was friendly, informative and pleasant. It was easy to have conversations with him about a wide variety of topics. He had a good sense of humour and my wife and I learned a lot. We would happily go on another trip led by Jef.
