How it works

Terms & Conditions

  1. Vouchers are valid for the stated amount printed in specified currency only.
  2. Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-returnable.
  3. Vouchers are not legal tender, account cards, credit or debit cards or securities. You cannot obtain any cash advance with your Voucher, redeem your Voucher for cash or receive any portion of the remaining value of a Voucher in cash.
  4. Vouchers can be used towards any unpaid portion of an Intrepid trip as well as pre or post accommodation, single supplement, and transfers when booked in conjunction with a chosen trip.
  5. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for airfares, optional activities, permits, visas or insurance.
  6. Vouchers cannot be redeemed retroactively on a trip or service that has already been booked and paid for (i.e. you cannot apply a voucher to a fully paid booking and receive a refund for the voucher amount). Vouchers can be redeemed for any unpaid portion of a trip or service.
  7. Vouchers cannot be redeemed through a travel agent.
  8. Any trips or extra services paid for using vouchers that are subject to a partial or full refund will be credited to their original voucher.
  9. If your trip purchase exceeds the value of a voucher, you must pay the excess using another payment method
  10. Vouchers can be used across multiple bookings.
  11. Vouchers purchased by residents in Australia and New Zealand have an expiry date of 3 years from the date of issue, Vouchers purchased by residents of Canada and the United States have no expiry date. Vouchers purchased in the UK and EU have an expiry date of 5 years from the date of issue. Vouchers purchased in the UK have a 14-day cooling off period from the date of issue.
  12. The use of vouchers is subject to the traveller agreeing to Intrepid Travel’s booking terms and conditions (). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal information that we may collect from you and/ or the recipient with respect to a voucher.
  13. You have certain rights under the consumer legislation which cannot be excluded and are not affected by these terms and conditions.
