Before you book you should know
- On Independent Short Breaks, you maintain a good level of independence and freedom, with the added bonus of having the details sorted out for you. You’ll have lots of free time and you won’t be accompanied by a Trip Leader. This means that all included activities and tours will be run by different local Intrepid partners, and these may operate independently from each other. The included activities and transfers will operate on a join-in basis, which means that you could have your Adventure all to yourself, or others may join you along the way. If you would prefer to travel in a group with a dedicated Trip Leader, just get in touch with your booking agent and they will take you through some alternatives.
- This trip will run with a minimum of one person, so you may be joined by other travellers booked on the same date as you, or you may be on your own.
1. Due to border crossing logistics and new requirements from the national parks on both sides of the border we require your passport details at least 30 days prior to departure or at the time of booking.
2. This Independent Short Break is a ‘join in’ group departure, which means you are not accompanied by an Intrepid group leader – our local representative fills this role – and the configuration of any fellow travellers in the group might change during the trip.
3. This trip will run with a minimum of one person, so you may be joined by other travellers booked on the same date as you, or you may be on your own. This trip is operated by one of our local partners in Iguazu and therefore you may be joined by a mixture of Intrepid-booked passengers and other travellers during activities.
4. Information may be delivered in English and Spanish, or just English depending on the requirements of the group.
5. The maximum number of travellers is indicative of maximum number of travellers during join-in activities only.
6. Your trip finishes upon arrival back in town at Foz do Iguazu (Brazil) in the late afternoon or at the airport. We recommend you arrange 1 nights post-tour accommodation. If you are booking a flight, do not depart prior to 7.00 pm.
7. Complimentary airport arrival and departure transfers are included; valid if you are arriving on Day 1 and departing on Day 3, or if you have booked additional accommodation through us. You must provide your flight details to your booking agent at least 14 days prior to travel.
8.We highly recommend you take US Dollars with you to Argentina and change it locally. While ATMs are widely available, there is a daily limit for withdrawals and the exchange rate does fluctuate.
Visa information is provided by Sherpa, a third-party. The "Add connection" feature shows transit visa requirements only and does not include full entry visa needs. Please note, additional service fees apply if you choose to purchase a visa through Sherpa.
