Egypt Tours & Holidays

Awesome ancient wonders, endless golden sands and atmospheric local souqs make Egypt the ultimate travel destination.

You’ve got to see it to believe it in Egypt – the chaos of Cairo (seriously, this city never stops); the bustling bazaars; the imposing glory of the Pyramids of Giza and the world’s most famous lion with a human head (the iconic Sphinx). Only in Egypt can you sail into the sunset on a felucca cruise along the Nile, marvel at the world's most spectacular temple complexes, wander through Luxor’s Valley of the Kings, and then float facing towards the sky in the glittering expanse of the Red Sea. Take a moment as time stands still in Egypt.

From the moment you land in country you are supported and guided through a cultural experience that enables you to truly understand current and historical aspects of the country. Intrepid’s focus and approach to community and environmental sustainability is something that should be applauded.

Classic Egypt

This Comfort Intrepid 8 day, 7 night tour was amazing. Not only did we get to see the usual Pyramids, Sphinx and Valley of the Kings, so much more was fitted in. Never a dull moment! Every detail from meals, tipping, ATM visits, toilet stops and time to breathe was ensured. A few early starts but worth it to beat the crowds and the heat. Overnight trains, 4 nights on a Nile cruiser, a Felucca sail, visits to a few locally owned businesses. All very informative, very thorough and educational to see. The only thing we sacrificed was the Hot Air Balloon over the Valley of the Kings due to high winds. An added extra which really touched our hearts was an Animal Refuge. Truly amazing work. Intrepid have a strong policy for the welfare of all animals. Our temple visits were informative and opened our eyes to years of history. To top it off we had time to explore the local bazzar and then an evening meal in an Egyptian home. All very down to earth. Forewarning given on vendors haggling. We were discouraged to give money to children, warned to be careful crossing roads and to be courteous of the Egyptian culture and customs. A real eye opening experience, one not to be forgotten.

Essential Egypt

Ra’eesa · Traveled April 2024
This tour is perfect for anyone trying to look for the essence of Cairo, Luxor and Aswan as well as ancient Egypt. The tour guide Mohammed is knowledgeable about history, culture and is a big foodie. This made the experience thoroughly enjoyable. The types of transportation such as overnight sleeper and felucca elevates the whole adventure. I would most definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking to know more about Egypt and want it to be an authentic adventure
