Uzbekistan Tours & Holidays

Experience a remote adventure – well and truly off the tourist trail – in dazzling Uzbekistan.

There are the famous cultural sites we’ve been told we have to visit (here’s looking at you, Instagram), and then there are the iconic sites we never knew we had to see. Like the glittering turquoise domes of Registan Square in Samarkand, the breathtaking Kalon Mosque and Minaret in the ancient Silk Road city of Bukhara. And outside of the cities, Uzbekistan is just as full of surprises – like the traditional villages of the Nuratau Mountains or a desert-bound yurt camp. This is Uzbekistan, in all its charming glory.

Uzbekistan Adventure

Hilary · Traveled June 2024
I was very wary of being in an organised tour, but now I am single I want to travel to the more unusual destinations without having to do all the research and planning involved with independent travel (timetables, not being able to read websites in a different language, etc). Intrepid made my holiday to Uzbekistan brilliant - great organisation, variety of sites and things to do, and the best tour guide. Took the pain and anxiety out of travel and I have made new friends around the world.

Intrepid's Premium Uzbekistan exceeded my already high expectations. The three historic cities we visited were incredibly beautiful, and different from anywhere i have travelled before. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and everything was very well organised. Highly recommended.

A well balanced trip with lots of nature and abundant history of the region with a very knowledgeable guide. A perfect taste test for the two countries to allow you explore further with confidence after the trip or another time. A trip that left with you wanting more of the region.
