Join Intrepid and the UN Global Compact Network Australia for a leadership trip aimed at sustainability professionals, designed to deepen your COP31 experience in Turkey.
Hosted by Executive Director Kate Dundas, and joined by expert speakers, this journey moves through Antalya and Kas. Expect time spent getting to know the culture, seeing how climate change is playing out on the ground and meeting the people working to protect what’s here.
Along the way, you’ll connect with peers and take part in workshops that set you up for the world’s biggest climate conference.

Merhaba! Welcome to Turkey. You’ll be transferred to your hotel and have some time to explore, before being introduced to your fellow travellers at a 6 pm welcome meeting. After, enjoy local flavours and soak up the atmosphere of Antalya over a welcome dinner.

After breakfast, hop into your vehicle for the 3-hour journey to Kas. Take in the deep blues and lush greens of this coastal town before diving into an afternoon of workshops as a group.

Spend the day on an immersive sailing experience along the crystal-clear waters of Kas, swim in the turquoise sea and soak up the views. Meet local couple Sebahat and Mehmet, who have worked with Intrepid for over 20 years, and enjoy their home-cooked local dishes, freshly brewed Turkish coffee and traditional Turkish oya embroidery.

Return to Antalya where you’ll visit the Education and Research Centres and meet DEKAFOK, a local conservation organisation. Take part in an engaging open-air classroom talk and a coastal clean-up, before an evening farewell dinner. Say goodbye the Turkish way with local flavours, shared plates and good conversation inspired by traditional meyhane.
