This American dream comes with fresh air, adrenaline and a not-so-subtle Latino twist
Whether it’s the depths of Costa Rica’s coastal jungles, the heights of the Peruvian Andes or the inky waters of Alaska’s fjords, the Americas boast boundless outdoor adventures. We don’t just photograph the waterfalls, we raft down them. We don’t simply wave hola to the locals, we go canyoneering and rappelling with them. Volcanoes are for downhill mountain biking, ruins are even more impressive when you hike to them and wildlife-rich islands are an excuse to kayak (much as we love a little birdwatching from the boat).
Americas multi-active highlights
Why choose us
We’ve been running multi-active adventures for over a decade, which means we know the best local suppliers and experts to give you an exciting and safe experience.
Don’t know what a carabiner is? Or how to secure a harness? No worries! Our experienced leaders will show you the ropes and give you safety briefings, while also showing you the best local bars, cafes and food joints.
Our leaders are specially trained to run multi-active trips, so you'll be well taken care of. We run safety assessments on all our activities to meet local standards as well as our own comprehensive safety policy.
These trips are for travellers who want to discover a new destination and unlock new skills like horse riding, canyoneering or mountain biking. They're designed to teach you something new – and maybe even make you an enthusiast!
We have a maximum group size of 16 travellers – though most trips average just 10 people. This means you can reach out-of-the-way places and get to know the locals while enjoying plenty of camaraderie along the way.
We use travel as a force for good. We have close relationships with the communities we visit and always use local providers on our trips. By travelling with us, you'll also be empowering local communities.
