Kakadu Tours & Holidays

Welcome to the Top End, where the Outback meets the tropics

With wildlife-filled wetlands, otherworldly gorges and some of the world’s oldest living cultures, it’s no surprise the Top End is one of Australia’s most iconic destinations. From Darwin to Arnhem Land, Kakadu to Katherine, this sun-splashed region is packed with once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Swim in hidden oases and explore a maze of winding waterways in Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge. See Australia’s most fearsome predators as you journey across the famous Cahills Crossing with a First Nations guide. Or traverse the Northern Territory from top-to-tail, taking in the highlights from Alice Springs to Darwin.

My first trip to the Top End of Australia so it was important to choose a tour which covered as much as possible without skimping on the details. This tour to Litchfield, Kakadu & Katherine did not disappoint. Well done Rick for leading such a brilliant tour . Would not hesitate to recommend

We undertook the Top End tour during the wet season "Build up" (October). It's hot, humid and that can be a challenge but more so its spectacular and thought provoking. Embrace the experience and take it as hard or easy as you like. A must do.

The Top End tour was incredible. I discovered so much about part of my own country and myself. The rockpools and rock art were highlights for me. Our tour group were lovely and our guide, Natalie was awesome! Thanks.

Good things… Lots of waterholes for swimming and guides keen knowledge about the environment. Not so good… Unclean accommodation and limited fresh food.
