Kenai Peninsula Tours & Vacations

The Kenai Peninsula in Alaska is wonderfully wild and offers an incredible adventure filled with natural wonders.

Stretching 150 miles south of Anchorage, many of the National Parks in the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska are the size of small countries. Bald eagles soar above the pristine coastline, and orcas and humpback whales cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park. The scale and beauty of the surrounding scenery will leave you in awe. Explore the coastal towns of Anchorage and Seaward or hike through the pristine landscape. You can get up close to epic glaciers and visit a family-run homestead to learn about sled dogs and the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. With a passionate local leader by your side, you’ll soon discover why the Kenai Peninsula is regarded as one of the country’s significant wilderness areas.

Alaska Hike, Bike & Kayak

LuAnn · Traveled July 2024
I highly recommend the Alaska Adventure: Bike, Hike, and Kayak level 3. The 20 mile bike ride was fairly flat with a few hills. Most of the hikes were between 2 to 3miles in length, but the 10.5 hike into Denali was more than I expected. Our guide took his time though, so no one ever really felt left behind if you had to walk more slowly. The Kayaking was amazing and so was the little hike in the rainforest. I loved traveling in the van with a small group of 10 and all of the people in our group were very friendly and fun. It was great for my husband to just be a passenger in the van and enjoy the scenery rather than driving and parking. The hotels were great. The food was simply 3 breakfasts provided by the hotels. The tour provided 2 lunches, but the rest of the meals we were on our own. Plan on an additional $50 a meal for those you have to pay for on your own. I will absolutely do another Intrepid trip. It was great!!!
