Salt Lake City enjoys an arid, temperate climate that sees high humidity levels and relatively even temperatures throughout the year. Due to the good weather all year round, there's no distinct popular time to travel to this bustling city. The Summer season is a good time to enjoy the great outdoors as you can go on hikes, undertake water sports on the Great Salt Lake, and walk around the city center in the sunshine without a chance of rain. Alternatively, Winter is also a good time to travel to Salt Lake City as you can participate in activities such as skiing and bobsledding on the surrounding slopes due to heavy snowfall.
