If you are thinking about this package don't hesitate, you will never regret it. But remember you are in Africa and manage your expectations realistically. Come ready to be flexible and adapt and enjoy everything that comes your way. We had a phenomenal trip, thanks Intrepid.

Botswana Highlights

Richard, our leader was the best guide we could of gotten. He was funny and kind and very genuine. When it mattered he became very serious and dedicated countless hours to the organization of the trip. When the van was in trouble instead of stressing us he managed it by himself and told us in a very competent manner about the steps we would take if anything went wrong. He was excellent at explaining things in a way that was kind to beginners and expanded everyone's knowledge. He also stayed vigilant throughout the long drives, avoiding potholes and always ready to slow down for animals, event for livestock as to not scare them. He kept us safe and informed the whole trip and got along well with everyone, including staff at the places we stayed at. He was truly excellent and he cared about you as a person, not as a extra tip at the end of the trip.

Okavango & Beyond

Silona · Traveled June 2024
It was a really good trip! We saw all the big 5 which was amazing. I highly recommend you pack just one pair of shorts and maybe 1 set of flip flops as you won't use them in the winter. It is going to be very dusty and I highly recommend bringing a buff, pants, and long sleeves to protect from dust, bugs, and the sun. Don't forget sunscreen and bug spray! The essential trip info is really important to read through, it will tell you everything you should bring. Other than that, bring a good camera and get ready for a great time!

I loved this trip from Johannesburg to Victoria falls!!! We had great food every day cooked around the fire by the chef. We saw so many animals including a rhino, hippos, and lions!!! I have not smiled and laughed so much in a long time! 1000% recommend!
