The most amazing trip visiting places I never would have thought to stay. Our trip leader Sreymom brought so much joy and was looking out for us every step of the way. She took us on an emotional and hilarious journey with the best people. Cambodia is a wonderful country <3.

One again Intrepid have delivered in spades on a tour, this time on our whirlwind trip through Cambodia. A lot of this was due to our amazing pocket rocket guide Saopheak Sum. Her cheerfulness and energy was contagious and her knowledge of her country amazing. It is a tour which can be confronting, and after our visit to the Cambodian Killing Fields she was very watchful of our tour members and the following days were uplifting.

I can’t say I knew that much about Cambodia before this trip, but I feel leaving that I have so much more respect and knowledge to share. Cambodia seems to be overlooked in favor of its neighbors Vietnam and Thailand, but Cambodia is a gem. The richness of it’s centuries old temples and more recent history of war allowed for a diverse, enriching experience.
