Bosnia and Herzegovina Tours & Holidays

Long overshadowed by stories of war, modern-day Bosnia and Herzegovina shines.

Its dramatic mountain countryside, cobbled streets, age-old cultures, minarets and temples entice you to turn another corner and keep exploring. Get back to nature, step back in time or back up onto the dance floor to party the night away with Sarajevo’s lively locals.

Cycle the Balkans

The Balkans Adventure introduced me to countries that previously I had no exposure to. The Balkans are beautiful and this tour is a great way to become familiar with the country. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and they focus on the safety of the cyclists. The tour is very well organized and though there are segments requiring van travel, the transitions from van travel to and from the cycling segments are seamless. The tour guides kept us laughing and made the whole trip.a lot of fun.

I can write something later if you want. Or you can take any of my language from the previous questions.

Cycle the Balkans

fiona · Traveled May 2024
Cycle the Balkans was a great way to explore the country. Much better than sitting on a bus. The hills in Montenegro are long and large - but manageable. If in doubt, get an e-bike! I have had two knee operations and had a poor level of fitness and managed to do it on a normal mountain bike - but an e-bike would have been much more enjoyable. The landscape across Montenegro and Bosnia are just incredible - I lost count of how many times I said "wow" in one day. Cycling tours are a great way to find the balance of eating/exploring your way through the country - and still managing to fit your jeans at the end of a trip. Will absolutely look to do another cycling trip in the near future.
