These SMS Terms of Use (“Terms”) describe how Intrepid Travel Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) provide text message services (“SMS Service”) to customers who voluntarily opt in. By subscribing to our SMS Service, you agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not subscribe or use our SMS Service.
1. Consent and Eligibility
By subscribing to our SMS Service, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- You own the mobile phone number provided or have the account holder’s permission to use it.
- You voluntarily and clearly consent to receive recurring messages from us which may include offers and promotions.
- We may SMS you with updates, details and information about your booking.
- Your consent is not a condition of purchase or service.
You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 5).
We only send texts to individuals who have opted in and maintain evidence of consent as required under applicable law.
2. Type and Frequency of Messages
You may receive:
- Important travel updates (e.g., flight, itinerary, or safety alerts)

Message frequency varies but will not exceed reasonable limits. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.
3. Message Delivery and Costs
We do not guarantee message delivery as it depends on your network provider and device status. Message and data charges imposed by your carrier may apply. We are not responsible for carrier delays or delivery failures.
Short codes, long codes, or branded sender IDs may vary depending on your country or network.
4. Privacy and Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. Your personal data (including your mobile number) will be processed in accordance with applicable regional data protection laws.

5. Opt-Out and Support
You can opt out at any time:
- Reply STOP, CANCEL, END, or UNSUBSCRIBE to 87477 after any message to stop receiving further texts.
- You will receive a one-time confirmation message verifying your opt-out.
- To join again, reply START to 87477 or re-enroll via our website.
For assistance, reply HELP to 87477 or email hello@intrepidtravel.com. Opt-out requests are honoured promptly (within 10 business days in the US/Canada; immediately or as soon as practicable elsewhere).
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to misuse our SMS Service. You may not:
- Enroll another person’s number without authorisation.
- Use the service for unlawful, misleading, or abusive messaging.
- Circumvent consent or attempt to spoof sender identity.
Violations may result in termination of SMS access and potential legal action.
7. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use (or inability to use) our SMS Service.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in law or our SMS practices. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
