Caution, great trips ahead

Pack up your suitcase and lace up your shoes, October is a cracking time to travel in Australia. One minute you can be deep in the dynamic Daintree Rainforest and the next you’re in the desert facing down the world’s most renowned rock: Uluru. With such a vast spread of ecosystems and enigmatic attractions, Australia should definitely be on your must-visit list (even if just for the top-tier white sand beaches). And for fans of active travel, track your distance as you cycle through SA’s wine country or spend days on foot exploring the Blue Mountains of NSW, the High Country of Victoria or the takayna/Tarkine region of Tasmania.

Both states have an abundance of natural beauty including jaw-dropping national parks and endless sandy beaches so settling the debate of the Northern Territory vs Western Australia is a hard one. Both bursting with Aboriginal culture, vibrant and multicultural cities, and more wildlife than you'll be able to spot, each region is breathtaking in its own way.

Intrepid is committed to making travel widely accessible, regardless of ability or disability. That’s why we do our best to help as many people see the world as possible, regardless of any physical or mental limitations they might have. However, we’re always happy to talk to travellers with disabilities and see if we can help guide them towards the most suitable itinerary for their needs and where possible, make reasonable adjustments to our itineraries.
