Get moving in Kings Canyon

Burn off some steam on a gentle hike through the floor of Kings Canyon. Following the creek bed, you'll get a sense of just how massive this gorge is as you gaze up at the 100-m-tall sandstone walls. Take a breather under the red river gums and maybe see if the kids can spot hikers who appear as tiny moving specks along the canyon rim.

Family-only trips

All relations are welcome – as long as you’re travelling with a child aged between 5 (or 10 for some trips) and 17, you’re a family in our eyes.

Like-minded travellers

Travelling with us is a bit like travelling with old friends. You’ll join a group of 3 to 5 families from all over the world, and the kids tend to hit it off straight away so you can enjoy some well-earned R&R. We often find that families stay in touch long after the trip ends.

Small groups

Our groups are small enough to avoid the crowds and reach out-of-the-way places, but big enough for a good social mix. Our average group size of 10 allows us to hop aboard local boats, buses or trains, eat at family-run restaurants, and stay in traditional guesthouses and homestays.

Kid-friendly itineraries

Boredom? Nope. The biggest challenge of travelling with kids is keeping them entertained, which is why our trips have plenty of fun activities and free time. We try to keep travelling time to a minimum and use hotels with pools. Your leader can also suggest activities based on your kid’s hobbies or curriculum.

Safety first

Our leaders are specially trained to run family adventures, so you and the kids will be well taken care of. You can also rest easy knowing we conduct safety assessments on all our activities to meet local standards as well as our own comprehensive safety policy.
