This is a very physically intense tour due to the high altitude. However, if you get past that and look after yourself, the tour is fantastic. Loads of history and culture and immersion. The Inca trail is definitely one of the highlight. So if you don’t mind getting up really early and go go go every day and is able to manage your physical health very well then definitely this is a tour for you.

This was a trip of a lifetime, every day was an adventure and all the places we visited were simply amazing. The guides are very friendly, especially our lead guide Tina. Intrepid takes great care of the staff and local people who support the treks. I will definitely book with them again. Highly recommend

I took the train option for my trip.. there was a lot time spent on the road for the trip and it was tiring having to wake up before 5am for most mornings. Also, there were a lot of issues (and expensive) getting Bolivian visa just for spending half a day in the city.. should have just ended the trip in Peru to avoid the hassle
