Mongolia Tours & Holidays

Landing in the concrete jungle of Ulaanbaatar, you might wonder where Mongolia keeps its famous wide-open spaces.

But just wait until you catch your first glimpse of sunrise over the famous Mongolian steppe. There’s no other view on Earth quite like it: mile after mile of rolling grassy plains, dotted with the white domes of gers and broken up with golden dunes or the craggy peaks of Tavan Bogd and the Altai mountains. It’s probably no surprise that our Mongolia tours are mostly about the getting out into the wild – soaking in the hot springs of Tsenkher or hiking through the Khogno Khan – but you’ll find there’s more to this country than just good views. With its epic history, brief communist past and a (proudly) democratic future, Mongolia is ready to greet the 21st century with plenty to offer the traveller.

The trip was really inspiring and mind opening. The landscapes were beautiful, the people very kind. Our leader Tem was very knowledgeable and always ready to help us. This trip was so special, also thanks to him. Our driver Jagaa was nice and kept us safe during the many hours on the road. Amazing adventurous trip, made even more special thanks to my fellow travelers!

Beautiful country, but be repaired to have entertainment with you because geir camps have nothing. Fantastic group and leader and driver. A perfect two week trip.

Wild Mongolia

This was a fantastic trip, amazing scenery, wildlife and humbling hospitality shown by the nomad families we stayed with. Our guide, Tem, had a great sense of humour and was very knowledgeable and our driver, Baira, kept us safe on the road and well fed with the picnics and Mongolian BBQ! Be prepared for some long and bumpy drives but that is part of the fun in the Russian furgon van.

Mongolia's Naadam Festival

Sandra · Traveled June 2023
Mongolia offers adventure, great landscapes and wonderful people unlike any other place. The festival was an amazing experience, a bit like an Olympic event, and the opening ceremony was really surprising, integrating both historic, current and future influences. Having been to the archers, wrestlers and horse camps at the start of the trip, they gave us an added insight into their cultural roots and current nomadic existence.
