This trip generates 26.56 kg of CO2-e per person per day.
We offset these emissions on your behalf. But we know that is not enough, so we also have a carbon reduction target.

Why you'll love this trip
  • Cycle the paved Tony Knowles Coastal Trail as it hugs the shore of Cook Inlet and travels through coastal marshes and over forested hills, with great views of Mount Susitna.
  • Kayak the calm waters of Resurrection Bay and enjoy beautiful mountain vistas as you keep an eye out for sea otters, seals, bald eagles and leaping salmon.
  • Hike the spectacular Triple Lakes Trail, Denali’s longest trail, which has great views of Riley Creek, towering mountains and the three Triple Lakes.
  • By travelling on this trip, you’ll directly support our Intrepid Foundation partner, World Bicycle Relief. Donations provide school kids, health workers, and farmers in far-out areas with bicycles that provide access to education, healthcare, and income.

Is this trip right for you?
  • Please ensure you consult your local government’s advice regarding domestic travel prior to booking this trip.
  • There are a few opportunities for easy hikes so sturdy footwear is recommended.
  • To complete this trip, it is important that you are both confident and competent in riding a bicycle.
  • Due to the relatively small distances cycled on this trip, we have a single leader that rides with the group. There may be times when the leader asks one of the group to act as a backmarker.
  • This trip is new to our range this year. And while we have thoroughly researched every detail of the logistics, new destinations and working with new partners can sometimes throw us some unexpected surprises. More often than not, it’ll be a great surprise. But every now and again there might be a hiccup. We like to think that’s what puts the ‘adventure’ in ‘adventure travel’.

What an amazing trip! Alaska is beautiful and this is a great way to see a small slice of it the best way possible, getting out and being active! If you just sit on a bus, you're going to miss the best parts. Highly recommend!

Travis our leader was exceptional and made this trip extra memorable. Seeing Alaska with this tour allowed us to go deeper and truly experience it. The views were breathtaking even on a drive, the food was 20/10, the accomodations were MUCH better than expected, and activities were so fun! Wish the trip could have been longer!

The Alaska hike, bike and kayak tour was just what I needed! The amazing mountain and sea views took my breath away and we saw moose two different times! Our tour guide was passionate about being in the outdoors and educating us all along the way.

Wes was the perfect trip leader. The perfect mix of easy-going and professional, committed to this being a good experience for everyone. His love of Alaska was so very evident, as was his experience and skill as a trip leader. The Bike/Hike/Kayak trip was a mild physical experience, a fine intro to Alaska.
