Is this trip right for you?

  • The legal drinking age in the USA is 21 years old – this trip suits those of legal drinking age due to the activities involved.

  • You're in the South of the USA, so expect a lot of (delicious) fried food and barbecue. Vegetarians may have fewer options, as a lot of southern cuisine is meat-based.

  • This trip is new to our range this year. Despite rigorous planning and research, new itineraries can sometimes throw us some unexpected surprises. More often than not, it’ll be a welcome surprise, but every now and again there might be a hiccup. We like to think that is what puts the ‘adventure’ in ‘adventure travel’.

The distillery, situated in the heart of Kentucky's bourbon country, uses open-pollinated white heirloom corn which makes for a slightly lighter whiskey flavor. After your visit, continue to Mammoth Cave National Park, home to the world’s longest cave system, covering more than 400 miles. Here you’ll find an unbelievable underground world of rock formations, caverns and natural cathedrals. After some time to explore this eerie landscape, travel onwards to Nashville, Tennessee, the country music capital of the world. The city is famous for its “honky tonks” – buzzing bars, clubs and pubs that play live music into the night.
