Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating, you agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms and Conditions. 

Promoter 

The promoter is Intrepid Travel Pty Ltd (ABN 35 007 172 456) of Level 7, 567 Collins Street, Melbourne (Promoter). 

Giveaway Period 

The giveaway commences on 14 July 2025 and will run until 14 August 2025 (Giveaway Period). No entry details submitted after this time will be accepted. The following month's giveaway will commence on 14 August 2025.

Entry Eligibility 

The giveaway entry is open to global participants aged 18 years or older and excludes employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary company and their immediate families, anyone connected professionally with the prize draw, or any person where entering this giveaway breaches any law or regulation of the jurisdiction in which they are resident. In entering the giveaway, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. 

Entry Instructions

To enter, individuals must complete the following entry mechanics during the giveaway period:  

• Tag or mention Intrepid Travel on Instagram, Instagram Stories, Facebook or TikTok in a photo or video from an Intrepid trip. The tag or mention must be prominent and clearly visible, not hidden or obscured in any way. Your profile must be public for us to see the tag or mention and count it as an entry.  
•  Up to and including 10 social media tags per user will be counted as entries.
• The winner must agree for their photo or video to be shared on Intrepid socials in order to receive the prize.

Prize 

The prize winner will receive: 

• One (1) x Space on an Intrepid trip for a person of the winner’s nomination up to $10,000 AUD value. 

Prize terms and conditions 

This prize is subject to the below terms and conditions, in addition to our booking conditions in force from time to time:  

• The prize must be redeemed against a new booking at least 3 months in advance of departure and must be redeemed for travel departing before December 2026.  

• If the prize winner chooses a trip over the value of AUD $10,000, the remaining balance must be paid by the prize winner. 

• The photo or video posted must be from an Intrepid Travel trip and comply with our ethical posting guidelines. We will need to verify that the photo in question is from on one our trips and we will verify this using booking records.  

• One entry per customer only will be counted. Multiple tags or mentions will not be counted as additional entries.  

• The winner must contact Intrepid Travel directly to book the prize and quote the prize winner promo code advised at time of winning. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to book and travel by the required date. 

• The winner will be required to agree to the current Booking Conditions at the time of booking including any applicable policies or waivers that are in place at the time. 

• This prize applies to the land element of trip only and cannot be redeemed against flights, accommodation, meals, domestic transfers, travel insurance, single supplement payment, activities, spending money or local payments/kitties not covered by the itinerary. 

• Any request to change to a different Intrepid Travel trip is at the discretion of Intrepid Travel and is not guaranteed. 

• The Prize is strictly non-transferable to another person nor is it redeemable for cash. 

• The Prize is subject to availability at time of booking. A minimum of 4 travellers must be confirmed on the Intrepid trip for the prize winner booking to be confirmed on their requested date. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so. 

• The winner is responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any required visas, vaccinations, travel insurance and other travel documentation. 

Prize Draw Date 

There will be one monthly winner determined in respect of this promotion. 

The winner will be determined by random selection based on number of entries in the draw. 

The draw will take place at Intrepid Travel’s Toronto Office located at 215 Spadina Ave. Unit #300, Toronto, ON M5T 2C7. 

The winner will be notified in writing over social media from an official Intrepid Travel account. 

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to identify and locate the prize winner. At the conclusion of 3 days, if no response is received by the Promoter, we will deem the prize as unclaimed, and an unclaimed Prize draw will be held. The Prize Winner from the redraw will be notified by email and similarly given 3 days to claim the prize. If the prize is still unclaimed, this prize will be forfeited. 

Collection and use of your personal information 

Personal Information including the entrant’s name, social media handle and posted photo or video will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this giveaway. This may require disclosure to third parties, including the Promoter’s agents or third-party service providers, for the purpose of conducting the giveaway.

Jurisdiction 

The promotion shall be governed by the laws in place in Victoria, Australia. 

General 

The Promoter and its affiliates reserve the right to amend or withdraw the prize draw and any of the prizes in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value. 

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
