- This trip involves some moderate to strenuous hiking. To enjoy this trip, it is important that you are both confident and competent in riding a bicycle and know how to swim. The trip is recommended for those with a good level of fitness. Please bring comfortable footwear suitable for hiking. See the ‘Packing’ section of the Essential Trip Information for more details.
- This trip includes a one-night camping experience at Acatenango, where conditions will be rustic. The lack of comfort is made up for with the opportunity to see an active volcano eruption glow at night and see sunset and sunrise from this spectacular vantage point.

Important notes
1. It is very important that you provide your height at time of booking so we can ensure that you have the appropriate sized bicycle when your trip starts. If you do not provide your height ahead of arrival we cannot guarantee a suitably sized bike for you. Bike helmets are supplied but you may wish to bring your own.
2. This trip starts at 6pm in Antigua on day 1. This trip finishes upon check out of your hotel on day 9.
3. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and layered clothing for all activities. It can get cold overnight during the Acatenango camping so please come prepared with a warm layer. Please ensure you bring a rain jacket.
4. The cycling on this trip is not accompanied by a support vehicle.
5. A single supplement is available if you’d prefer not to share a room on this trip. The single supplement excludes Day 3 (Overnight camp) where you will be in shared accommodation. Please speak to your booking agent for further information.
