Wonderful trip. The tour leader, Corry, was knowledgeable, organized, and just plain fun. The itinerary let us see a range of cultural sites while providing ample free time. The hotels were all excellent.

Bali is way over-rated. Ubud the cultural capital of the island is saturated with tourists, tourist shops, and hotels. The streets are very narrow and traffic jams are almost constant. It takes a lot of time to go a short distance. You do not get to see much nature just endless suburban sprawl. Do not go to Canggu unless you love constant loud music and to be surrounded by trash; the beach is mediocre and the town totally uninteresting.

A superb trip to Indonesia with a great group and a fantastic tour leader, Abraham. We all learnt a great deal about Indonesia, its culture, people, food and myriad religions. This and Abraham’s enthusiasm, knowledge and winning smile made it an unforgettable trip. Indonesia I’ll be back!

This trip is a true cultural experience exploring religious sites, UNESCO temples, food, and local hangouts. There is a lot of traffic at all destinations which is part of the experience understanding how the local people use the land. I loved the immersion into the society and feel I got a glimpse of how locals live.
