Our trips include big-ticket attractions as well as unexpected experiences that you can only find with a local leader. So, while you'll definitely check Tulum off the list, sharing a laugh with a local in a Mayan village might be the memory that stays with you the longest.
With an average size of 10 people, all in a similar age range and life stage, our groups are big enough to create good vibes but small enough to blend in with the locals. Whether you're travelling solo or with friends, you'll always have someone to grab a drink or snap a selfie with.
We're committed to ensuring our trips are safe for everyone, including our travellers, leaders, crew and the communities we visit along the way. We're always up to date with world events and changes, so your friends and fam can rest easy knowing that you'll be well taken care of.
- The Friend(trip) (Campaign) is open to applicants who submit an application through this link. You must be aged 18+ to submit an application. The application will require you to provide your full name, DOB, email address, country of residence, and social media link(s).
- The application period opens 00:01am EST September 01 2025 and ends on 23:59pm PDT September 30 2025.
- Intrepid Travel holds the right to close the application period before 23:59pm PDT September 30 2025.
- Intrepid Travel, in its sole discretion, will select successful applicants (Travellers). Travellers will then be notified via email regarding their successful entry into the Campaign no later than 17:00pm PDT October 16 2025. Travellers will need to reply to this email within three business days to confirm their participation in the Campaign.
- To participate in the Campaign, Travellers must provide their personal details and travel documents three business days after they agree to patriciate in the Campaign.
- Winners will be selected by a panel that includes representatives from our internal DEI groups.
- If selected by Intrepid Travel, the Campaign entitles Travellers to receive one (1) place on the Six Days in Iceland trip. Travellers will also receive a flight stipend of two thousand Canadian/US dollars ($2,000 CAD/USD) that can be used toward return flights in economy class with one (1) checked bag.
- Travellers must feel comfortable being on camera and must sign a consent to film waiver before travelling.
- Travellers must agree to Pixlee’s terms of service before their trip commences.
- By agreeing to participate in the Campaign, Travellers agree to capture and upload a minimum of five (5) photos and two (2) videos (minimum 10 seconds each) documenting their experience. Travellers must upload content relating to the Campaign to Pixlee before March 01 2026. In doing so, Travellers consent Intrepid Travel to global, unlimited usage rights.
- Travellers must be able to travel internationally between February 01 2026 – February 28 2026 . If you cannot confirm you can travel during this period, your application will be deemed invalid.
- If Travellers can no longer travel 60 days before their trip commences, they will be liable to cover unredeemable costs.
- Travellers must confirm they are willing to share a room whilst travelling. If a Traveller does not want to share a room, they will have the option to pay for an individual room with a single supplement. They must request this when they confirm their participation in the Campaign. Single rooms are subject to availability.
- Travel documents & vaccination requirements are the responsibility of the individual Traveller.
- All travel is subject to the Intrepid Booking Conditions which can be found at: https://www.intrepidtravel.com/booking-intrepid/booking-conditions. Each Traveller will be required to agree to the current booking conditions including any applicable policies or waivers that are in place at the time.
- Personal information including the eligible entrant’s full name, DOB, email address, country of residence will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Campaign. This may require disclosure to third parties, including Intrepid Travel’s agents or third-party service providers, for the purpose of conducting the Campaign.

- The Campaign shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
- Intrepid Travel and its affiliates reserve the right to amend or withdraw the Campaign in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, Intrepid Travel, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a Traveller or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death except where it is caused by the negligence of the Intrepid Travel, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- In order to confirm your registration into Campaign, we request that you read the below Collection Notice. The purpose of the Collection Notice is to explain how we handle your personal information we receive about you when you register. This Collection Notice should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy which is available here: Intrepid Travel Privacy Policy.
- As we are a large international group, your completed entry form may be shared within the Intrepid Group Pty Limited (Intrepid Group) and any of our related entities worldwide.
- Collection and disclosure of your personal information:
- We may collect, hold, use and share your completed registration form for the following purposes:
- to process your registration in the Campaign;
- if you are selected as a Traveller:
- to facilitate the booking process and provide you with our travel products and services, administer your reservations and tours, manage your account settings, and generally administer and manage our customer relationship with you;
- where permitted by law, where it is in your vital interest or you provide your consent to do so, your medical/health information may be shared to ensure that we understand any specific needs you may have, before and during your trip. Any pre-existing medical conditions could impact your enjoyment of the trip, and by informing us of any conditions, issues, or limitations, we can ensure that Intrepid is better prepared to assist if required; and
- we collect insurance and emergency contact details in the case of any medical emergency;
- carry out our marketing activities, including identify and tell you about other travel related products or services that we think may be of interest to you, process feedback forms and other similar communications; and
- we may also collect and/or use your information if we are required to cooperate with law enforcement authorities, if we are authorised to do so by law, or to comply with the law.
- We may share your personal information, as follows:
- Where you consent to us sharing your personal information;
- Within our related entities, including within the Intrepid Group; or
- Where authorised or required to do so by law, or with insurance providers or medical personnel.
- Access to your personal information:
- You can ask us for access to your personal information and to correct any inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date information we hold about you by contacting us on the information set out in the ‘Contact Us’ section below.
- Where possible we will comply with your request, however, there may be instances where we cannot fulfil your request. We will always communicate with you any consequences before going forward, or give you written reasons for any refusal (where we able to do so under applicable law).
