Bolivia Highlights
Kimberley · Traveled June 2024
Country #35 or there abouts and this was my most adventurous trip to date! Bolivia Highlights via Intrepid started in La Paz, adjusting to the high altitude (thanks to my Aussie roommate for the medicine to make it through the trip). Long drives through vast landscapes, up and
down the hills and valleys, winding roads...beautiful in some areas dry, cold, dusty, green, white-miles of white the salt flats just gorgeous. Learning about the different tribes, the markets, going into the mine, museums etc. One needs to be prepared for the unexpected and go with the flow. Follow the trip essentials, bring your snacks and go with an open mind! Be prepared to rough it on certain days. The trip is worth it but preparation is key!

Absolutely phenomenal trip. Seamlessly managed and organized while hitting so many amazing cultural, historical, and natural highlights of Peru, I’m ending this trip with a deep appreciation for this country.

Simply an incredible journey. The Inca Trail was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but also incredibly rewarding.
Highly recommended.
