We believe there's a better way to travel.

For over 30 years we’ve been the world’s leading operator of ethical small group adventures. To us, travelling responsibly is the only way to travel, and we want to give our travellers the choice to be responsible too. That’s why we work with local communities to build our trips to be sustainable from the ground up, and invest in new research and initiatives for the future.

It’s also why, way back in 2002, we founded The Intrepid Foundation – a not-for-profit organisation that supports over 100 community projects around the globe and empowers our travellers to have a positive impact on the communities we visit.

We do all of this because in today’s complicated world, where it seems like there’s more problems than solutions, we believe now is the time to act – to put purpose above profit and lead by example.

To hold ourselves accountable, and ensure we remain a responsible business long into the future, we have joined the B-Corp movement, becoming the largest B-Corp certified business in the travel industry, globally. We hope that others will follow in our footsteps, and we can change the way people travel for good.
