The capital city of the most populous country on earth isn’t short of things to do, so take a trip from Beijing and explore the magisterial Forbidden City, the ruins of the Summer Palace, search the hutongs for local flavours, or head outside the city to walk along one of the world’s greatest structures – the Great Wall.
